Replace both the plug & socket with good quality items. Don't buy cheap. :) We regularly check single & 3 phase connectors/plugs/pumps etc on site with a thermal imaging camera. For heavy loads, both plugs & sockets are regarded as consumables. A great tool if you can borrow one. P.

Hello Pavel & Gareth. Welcome to the forum. The rear motor mount bush (front one one the three) is the first to fail & easiest to replace. It'll take you less than 20 minutes. 3517A089 & 3517A053 are two of the many part numbers for this bush. P.

Unfortunately you can't tow anything heavy with the Outlander Phev...... The Outlander PHEV has a 1500kg braked towing limit and a 750kg unbraked limit.

Our 2018 car had a flat battery recently. I had bought a Noco GB40 jump starter pack. It got the car going within a minute of connecting. It's reverse polarity protected too.

Do they mean the hot water pump? The small electric water pump that is mounted on the back of the engine & pumps water through the electric under floor heater to the cabin heater matrix. This pump won't survive very long if it has been run dry due to the loss of coolant/antifreeze.
