Thanks for all the replies, over the long weekend I watched some U tube videos some say it takes 1/2hr to recharge the battery back up whilst on the highway, others say you gain 10 miles charge every 100 miles. What we need is someone to do a long journey on the highway to see how long it takes...

I just say, I am more comfortable with the metric system, but if I am not mistaken, 7 miles @ 28 mph takes you about 15 minutes, not half an hour :idea: And even then, it may do so when parked. But I don't think it will do so while driving. The other website I looked at said the battery...

I read somewhere that the battery could be regenerated whilst driving up to 80% in half an hour but it did not say at what average speed or distance hence the question,
