    First Poll for MMC Japan

Would be nice to have this inside the Eco to EV re-purpose In ECO mode, it should be always prevent to start ICE, both for cabin heating, and as well for a little extra push on the accelerator pedal (only a kick down should trigger a ICE start in ECO mode). If they will provide this not only...

Want to drive in EV mode only

With a JLR people can opt for an extended bumper 2 bumper warranty up to 10y and 100k miles ... so 10 years of schools runs can be secured ;) PS: I did own multiple car brands in multiple years ... Ford / Renault / VW / BMW / Alfa Romeo / Fiat / Dacia / Mitsubishi / Aixam ... I have to said...

Ok need some advice about MMC Japan.

I don't believe that people making disinformation, should represent anybody. Here is one example of disinformation : http://www.myoutlanderphev.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=4194 ... where a modified and misinterpreted picture is used for argue that 73km of EV range is possible with the...

What is your EV mile reading after fully charged?

Battery degradation ... or better the assumption of the PHEV BMU battery degradation can be seen only with an OBD2 adapter and the PhevWatchDog or EVBatMonitor application. EV range is a function of the state of charge, state of health, temperature of the battery, and the driving "style" in the...

Do not be scared of using that charge button.

Ok .. possibly there is downhill and downhill ... I would expect to switch in EV mode and disable ICE charge when going downhill, since regen brake should be more then enough for charge the battery But .. for a small and short downhill on motorway ... actually I don't bother to change my...

    PHEV Watchdog for all.

I missed some s in VideoS ... Andy did a lot of Videos ... so he provided us a lot of data and references that are very valuable For example, because of him, we know that some dealers instead of making the real "battery smoothing", they can reset the BMU to force a 100% SOH .. something...

For people disappointed with Range in EV.

Speaking about BS What is above, and in page 1 is 100% BS See the reference picture below taken from page 1 The screen shot show an average EV consumption of 8.6km/kwh and 23.1km/L ... so .. the PHEV was using both battery and petrol. So ... the possible EV range of 73km based on that data...

    PHEV Watchdog for all.

Lot of good points Yes, I agree it is astonishing the BMU in the Outlander PHEV The PHEV battery, we assume it is done with 40Ah cells, but in reality we have no clear indication from Yuasa or Mitsubishi what are the specs of the Lithium cell in the PHEV We know that iMEV use LEV50 from...

Do low temperatures inhibit parallel mode?

I had something similar ... but the "serial" mode did last not that long ... maybe only 30 seconds max 1 minute of drive before switch to parallel It was looking like that with a cold engine block, if the power demand is limited (it is not needed much power for drive 100/110km/h on a flat...

For people disappointed with Range in EV.

I don't know who is on drugs and who might needs drugs ... let's keep this aside. I don't believe that be paid by Mitsubishi it is an insult ... actually I believe people need to have some skills for be paid by them ... so ... I assumed I wasn't insulting anybody. Anyhow ... the screen shot on...

For people disappointed with Range in EV.

How much Mitsubishi Australia pays for promote the "brand" with disinformation? 8.6km/kwh even at 60km/h is not realistic, unless in a very long downhill 8.6km/kwh is 11.6kwh/100km... Everybody owning the PHEV watch dog knows well this consumption level is impossible Trex, instead of...

    Charging at low temperature

I did not monitor the charging process with extreme cold temperature What I did notice is that the charging process at the end is way slower when outside temperature and battery temperature is just below zero (-2 battery temperature, -8 outside temperature) .. the end charging process that is...

    Stuck in "Charge" mode

I got on my PHEV, that the car did start the ICE immediately with full battery, because of "old" fuel. (But there was a special message on the dash, if I recall right) It is not about of Km done, but about time ... I think the limit was set to 3 months, but maybe it has been made longer on...

    Stuck in "Charge" mode

If the car believe the fuel is older then 3 months, the PHEV force to consume fuel instead of running in EV mode Assuming this is the problem ... switch off the car ... unplug the 12v battery for 1 minute ... plug it back ... and this old fuel issue should be solved Other option .. is to add...

2016 Outlander keyfob hack. REMOTE HEATER!

There are lot of photos here Maybe the best you can find in this page: http://www.myoutlanderphev.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=2118&start=70 Just scan this 11 pages thread .. and you should find lot of information

    Charging at low temperature

Definitely ... make sure that has the heater included ... With -30C outside still the battery should never go below -15C .. which is still well inside the specs of the battery But better to be sure to get the PHEV version for the Nordic countries I'm quite sure my PHEV originally from...

    Eco Drive Ratio Confusion

EV ratio could be very different per the firmware version of the MMCS I believe I have the oldest possible firmware on this PHEV In my case the EV ration does not change when I switch between manual and automatic (so from short history data to long history data) .. while the fuel consumption...

    Charging at low temperature

Per the battery specs, it is allowed to charge up to 10A (0.2C) at -25 deg ... 0.2C is equal to 2.4kw charging for a 12kwh battery ... so ... actually even at -25C, we can normally charge our PHEV with the included charger (but I bet the process is slow down, or maybe even stopped at -25C for...

    Charging at low temperature

Strange scientific explanation. Also ... why freezing is consider 0C .. this is the freezing point of pure water ... in liquid inside the Lithium battery I doubt it get frozen just below 0C .. it must have a freezing point way below 0C I also don't get why discharge up to -20C is not an issue...
