This is the connector for the trailer module. It lives behind the rear nearside panel. There's no permanent live though. That has to come from the auxiliary battery under the boot floor. I took my switched ignition feed from the dashboard behind the radio. Quite easy to remove the panels...

Mine is at the dealer today to be done along with drivers (keyless entry) door switch replacement. ;)

More likely that they did not actually check the brake pads at all. Seen this sort of thing many times with Landrover main dealers.

I have only driven mine across a wet field & it did ok. No drama. I'd love to see how it would cope with mud & snow. The Outlander Phev Product & Sales Feature Guide 2014 (INTERNAL DEALER USE ONLY) states:

An audible buzzer does NOT comply with UK law. It has never been a requirement. You can have one fitted if you want one but you MUST have a visual indication on the dashboard to warn the driver if a trailer indicator lamp fails. ;)

I'm looking for some 225 55 18 winter tyres for the Phev. Have spotted some Cooper Weather-Master WSC tyres today. I've never seen them before. Anyone tried them? Never tried snow socks btw. I have always used mud terrain tyres on the Landrovers & loved the Goodyear Duratracs on the Discovery.
