    PHEV Watchdog for all.

Hello everyone! Just to inform you that in order to keep things focused there is now a facebook group named "PHEV Watchdog Users" which will be the right place to share and discuss anything related to the app... Also, new releases are to be published there only... You've be warned! :) Those...

    PHEV Watchdog for all.

Hello elm70. Well, I should say there's no reason to not believe those readings. I've watched mine, and they seem to be strictly correct. Those numbers are directly read from the Charger Management Unit without any further calculations. The only issue you may have with those values is that...

    PHEV Watchdog for all.

Just noticed there is a nasty bug in the battery list condition auto logging feature. I'll be disabling that feature (everything else is working) until I'll fix the problem. Apologies for that. Here's the new link for the app (still v0.7)...

    PHEV Watchdog for all.

So, as I said before. Data is grouped in segments (trips) that the users starts and ends whenever wanted. Stats for each trip are automatically recorded and kept in your mobile. You can watch them later by accessing the Trip List from the app. Here's an example of how it looks: Beside the...

    PHEV Watchdog for all.

Finally the trip screen (still a work in progress): First it should be understood that the "dog" segments the data into "trips". The user is responsible to start and stop the "recording" of a trip... Once you stopped it, thats it. That trip is over, and closed. This screen will report the...

    PHEV Watchdog for all.

Well before making available the "little dog" I'll post here a quick overview. It's a simple multiscreen app (5 screens at the moment) from which you can swipe from to the other. Each screen displays a set of more or less correlated data. First there's the starting screen, which could be...

    PHEV Watchdog for all.

Hello all! Well for all this time I've been testing the app with a restricted number of local users. I'm happy to announce that I'll be finally releasing next week the first stable version here 8-) In short, beside the raw vital information extracted from the OBD (battery status, motors...

    OBDII adaptors

As elm70 said. Stay away from those cheap ones. The two bellow are known to be working perfectly with the PHEV Watchdog app (to be released by the end of the month) and so, should work perfectly with EvBatMon. OBDLink LX Bluetooth Konnwei kw902

Drive battery degradation . Houston, do we have a problem?

Mine's been loosing steadily 0.1Ah every 650kms on the past 10.000kms... Still I've been managing regularly to get 106% of SOC, measured 30 minutes after full charge. Today, out of the blue the battery capacity increased 0.5Ah! Not that I'm very surprised with this... Such has been previously...

    Let's go pure EV...

Well, I tought the vtech box was simply tampering values at the gas pedal... Hence the need of profile adjustment to make it work right.

Eh eh... I can tell you it's looking good :) For the moment no play store as it will cost me to place it there. I'll put the download link of the apk here when it's ready ;)

    PHEV Watchdog for all.

I'm finally announcing to the PHEVer community the first version of the PHEV Watchdog (to be release very soon). Only for Android, and no... I'm not considering porting this to iPhone... Sorry, not much time on my agenda. Here's the current screen layout of data: Start or stop collecting...

Extracting useful data from your OBDII port

Thanks anko, I must say only possible due to your extensive efforts ;) I'm waiting half a second before issuing the next run cycle. Each run cycle runs a list of commands requests/responses. Not every command runs on every run cycle. For example, the request to the on board charger has a 1/10...

Extracting useful data from your OBDII port

Hey, thank you for the feedback guys. Project is going pretty well. App is able to retrieve data from the engine, generator, battery, front/rear motor and onboard charger control units. It's also able to do some stats calculation for each recorded trips. I'm actually using on my daily...

Extracting useful data from your OBDII port

Well, thanks to anko's valuable work I've already managed to roll some numbers. ;) GPS, bluetooth and ODB interface are all working well and I'm able to request and process nicely the BMU ECU frame. Still much work to do in the layouts/UI and trip logging, but everything is coming nicely...
