WARNING: Phev 2022 Regen Braking Hopeless

Sorry for the typo. Glad you understood my point anyway ;) What would be the advantage though? The car is already able to control the brakes itself and could do it in 1-pedal driving if regen is not available. Besides I don't know how robust the clutch is, but usually before coupling the...

WARNING: Phev 2022 Regen Braking Hopeless

Okay, more seriously, the claim just doesn't make any sense at all. It is true that if the battery level is too high, regenerative breaking is limited. This is due to the way charging lithium batteries is done. The voltage needs to be limited to the maximum the cells can take, so if the voltage...

WARNING: Phev 2022 Regen Braking Hopeless

It also starts the petrol engine when you use the turn signals, so try and drive in a straight line.

Car off and locked but beeping from inside

Nothing is wrong. When the wifi module is configured, it draws a bit of power from the 12V battery, and to compensate for that and prevent the 12V battery from being flat, the car charges it a bit every day from the main drive battery. It's nothing to be worried about, and frankly I don't know...

Help! Parked in cold weather and starting system won't turn OFF

Yes I meant that, and you just need to have used it once. Then the wifi module is active and the car will do the 12 v battery charge every day at 2 pm. (and beep while it is doing it, this car loves beeping all the time)

Help! Parked in cold weather and starting system won't turn OFF

Yes it's right, but for the last part (topping the 12V battery daily) it will only do it on the models that have the wifi module installed, *and* configured (i.e. connected at least once to the app on your phone)

PHEV watchdog state of health doesn't match the dealer's health check, suspicious or not?

The battery capacity in Ah matches almost the value from Phev Watchdog and it's probable that the BMU decreased the capacity by 0.1 Ah between when the dealer printed the paper and when you got the battery health report on your phone. So the dealer probably just extracted the capacity from an...

Help! Parked in cold weather and starting system won't turn OFF

As long as the car is on (running or not), it will charge the 12V battery from the high voltage battery. If you have a wifi module and it has been connected to your phone at least once, the car will also top up the 12V battery from the high voltage battery every day at 2 PM. You just must make...

PHEV watchdog state of health doesn't match the dealer's health check, suspicious or not?

Yes,it definitely looks like you really got a one year old battery! Congratulations! Now the question is how the dealer got that strange battery health report.

PHEV watchdog state of health doesn't match the dealer's health check, suspicious or not?

Your screenshot from Phev watchdog shows 346 days for the age of the battery. If it hasn't been swapped, it means that someone did a BMU reset about a year ago without properly reprogramming the BMU, and most probably without doing a dbcam afterwards to measure the actual battery capacity. And...

    Granny cable plug check

Did you have a look at the socket you are plugging into? If possible try to use another socket at see if you have the same problem. If not it may be time to change the socket.

    SUB-BMU replacement

Yes the 12V battery gets topped at 2pm every day, if the Wifi module is configured (even if not actively connected to your phone). This is because the Wifi module drains a bit of current constantly from the 12V battery, so the car charges it a bit every day to compensate and be sure it's not...

Low 12v Battery on New Car

It sounds like they are bullshitting you. The car should be able to stay unused for weeks, the 12V battery will not go down so quickly. Can you borrow a voltmeter to check it yourself? If the 12V battery indeed discharges so quickly by itself then it is defective. You should change it, and for...

    Phev watchdog battery condition

You are reading this right. I also have a 2016 model, with more mileage (90000 km, 56000 miles) and my battery is at 80%, so it doesn't sound unreasonable. The battery capacity warranty should be 70% after 8 years.

Lindqvist method : DIY BMU Battery Reset

It's the actual state of charge of the battery at the time the state of health was reported. Around 43% at 3.88V per cell doesn't sound bad.

WiFi disable setting when vehicle is ON

On Android (at least on mine) you need to look for the setting in Android's wifi settings, not the remote app. When your phone is connected to the car's wifi, go to Android's wifi settings, do a long tap on the connected "remotexxxx" network, and disable "autoconnect".

Burning smell, loss if battery, return car?

From your description I would say that the battery has a balance problem. At least one of the cells must be lower than the others. Having the heater on at night could explain also the drop in capacity on the morning, but not loosing half the battery state of charge by simply driving from the...

Lindqvist method : DIY BMU Battery Reset

I'm glad it worked! It's the PHEV version of "have you tried turning it off an on again?" ;)
