Improper reset was definitely done on your vehicle. I suggest to not fully charge - discharge it until you do and proper reset followed by DBCAM. Don't let the battery to drop lower than 1/4 use Save or Charge before that point.

What about when you hit Charge over 42MPH? Does it switch to direct drive?

Beside what Daixiwen is asking... Has been BMU reset done on the vehicle like some videos on internet, disconnecting or lowering the voltage on 12V battery and so on? Does Charge button start the engine while you still have plenty of battery?

I would do it for efficiency mostly and less exhaust gasses in the city not carbon specifically. I don't consider the carbon as pollutant, even the opposite, the only beneficial emission from human activity and promoting the carbon cycle in nature.
