Tipper - Sorry for rude answer. I changed it.

    Let's go pure EV...

These are: sound off (I hate this "artificial engine sound"), no TPMS sensors (I have winter wheels now, sensors are in summer wheels). Yellow triangle is for TPMS sensors error - if I install summer tires - it will disappear. Additional alert, that shows up at the end - "Possible Icy Roads"...

No. They cannot see changes but they can use ECO button and notice, that it blocks gasoline engine. The only way to avoid any opportunity of being catched is to reflash PHEV ecu back to factory state before service and again to this mod after leaving Mitsu garage.

    Let's go pure EV...

For PolishPilot: "It looks like VTechTuning has something to do with Poland" Wow, U R so brilliant :) Pozdrawiam z Krakowa :) (for English spoken - this is rare foreign language. "Pozdrawiam" means - "Who the hell" and "z Krakowa" - is to be translated to: "are you?"). ;) At first - sorry for...

    Let's go pure EV...

OK, to be serious - we have bought PHEV and Leaf just for reversing. I rather disliked EVs idea, I have even written 2-3 years ago few articles criticizing EV idea and Leaf as a car of the year 2012. Then I started to drive (commute) last year with our PHEV and my mind changed a bit. Our work...

    Let's go pure EV...

Thx Zzcoopej. PHEV is my hobby. My normal work are diesels and gasoline engines

    Let's go pure EV...

Just with that extra 10 kw. Im afraid to set more as this is not a big traction battery. Btw it shows power quite accurate. Up to end of green area is a factory ev power. 60 kw. And now it shows more or less correct 70 kw. It is clearly visible that current progress blocks faster launch. This I...

    Let's go pure EV...

150 km/h sir, 150... do not insult our great PHEVs. And my winter tyres are 3% oversized (225/70/16 instead of 225/55/18 summer) - so that was REAL 150 km/h Now I see it is really great car! I think when I increase launch-off current settings and progression (already corrected in 2016 edition...

    Let's go pure EV...

Just changes in control software. Nothing special at the moment, first tests. Throttle pedal is not yet recalibrated for EV, etc, many small things to be reprogrammed to make it really working. BTW, I upload 0-100 test and top speed test at the highway. YOU WILL BE SURPRISED....I REALLY was...

    Increasing capacity of batteries.

These are sensors in seats, that show unbelted passengers. One per seat 2+3+2 (unused in third row).

    Increasing capacity of batteries.

I also believe I would see better numbers in summer. But until now highest I have ever seen was 46 km (and 42 done). I'm afraid that heating eats some as it is freezing winter here.

    Increasing capacity of batteries.

Here is an example of tweaked range (typical without tweak is 42-46 and real is 40-42 km or even slightly less) With tweak it shows 58 (36 miles) (started with 59 but when I just moved a car from inside of workshop (just 20 metres....) it changed to 58. Real range was 52 km (32-33 miles) and...

    Dyno graph of Outlander PHEV

Below is a link from video from this test. This particular test starts at 2:30 and it was a second run. During first run I did a mistake with switching to Neutral, because I did not know, that I should have kept knob at N position for 2 seconds, and I did it too shortly. That altered the result...

    Increasing capacity of batteries.

Network I know from service manual. Power levels - no, this is new for me. My observations are just observations. But good to know. Thx Anko!

    Increasing capacity of batteries.

I have started from PHEV-ECU and BMU because I'm total newcomer ("greenhorn"?) of EV tuning & tweaking. As I work already at these, I don't want to break, until these are fully reversed (so I can inject my code or tweak code freely). I see that PHEV-ECU works as gateway with filters, as it uses...

    Dyno graph of Outlander PHEV

Nm, HP vs speed in kmh, engine+motor power (not on wheels). I have repeated measurement 3 times, battery full. No differences. Exact same graph (sometimes slightly earlier switches to parallel hybrid).

    Increasing capacity of batteries.

Poland - http://www.vtechtuning.eu Sweden - http://www.vtech.se We are not a typical car tuners - we develop technology for tuners, so protocols, checksums, seed-key algos, etc. Typical reverse engineering. We produce dynos (separate division) : http://www.vtechdyno.eu To be honest - we...

    Increasing capacity of batteries.

I focus on adding EV functionality (it will be provided by 3-sec pressing of save button (at least it is how I planned that) but it is a long way as dis-assembling of PHEV-ECU is not such piece of cake. We also have bought second battery, used, from crashed car. Looks ok, so I can build my own...
