i'm not sure if it was over 20 litres but since then i have filled up again (40 litres) & it is starting in EV mode. i'm not convinced yet that it is the 20 litre min fill thing, because i have not seen any fuel warnings except for a low fuel. anyway i'll start keeping track of fuel...

there was a message when the fuel was low, since it was topped there has been no message & it only starts in ICE mode

are you telling me that when the full is low a message doesn't come up?

my wife has confirmed the message related to low fuel only. i'm starting to think because it is autumn here a timer is coming on because it thinks the battery is cold????? which is BS when we live in a temperate climate, the car is garaged and thus far the temp hasn't gone lower than 8 deg...

thanks for the reply. I'm in Australia, never had to use the defroster mode. the dealership service department did say the ICE will come on if the battery is cold but i got the car last winter (august) and the issue has only strated to occur in the last month or so in autumn.

Thanks for the reply - my wife did mention there was a message relating to fuel but I didn't see it. Since then I thought I solved the problem re starting car after first start - see attached. But the issue has come back with no fuel message.

I've had the car since Aug 2023 & have found lately i can't get it to start in EV mode, would appreciate any advice.
