    I was thinking the same, although my use would be for a sump pump which has to keep working in heavy downpours. My traction battery to power the 120v plug is reassuring and thanks for the perspective.

    Was hoping for some electrical help re my 1500w plug in the cargo area. Can this plug support a 1000w sump pump in an emergency situation (ex no power) Will my plug take it safely?
