    Actual cost to charge

    With the 16 amp charger it takes much shorter time to charge the battery. Unfortunatelly there were a systematic fault on our 16 amp cable so we had to return it.

    You do not need the time it takes in your calculation. 12kWh x 0,16 $/kWh= 1,92 $ This should quite cheap compared to a petrol or diesel powered car.
